Tie Carrington is the owner and lead stylist of Styles & Designs by Tie, a private boutique salon focused on healthy hair care and personalized service.
With over the 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, Tie specializes in healthy hair maintenance, silk presses, precision cuts, color services, and keratin smoothing treatments designed to help clients maintain strong, beautiful hair.
Her private studio environment allows clients to receive one-on-one attention without the long salon wait, creating a relaxing experience where hair health always comes first.
Tie is also a certified Brazilian Keratin educator and has trained professionals within the beauty industry while continuing to refine her craft.
Her mission is simple:
to help every client achieve healthy, manageable hair while wearing styles that make them feel confident and beautiful.

A non-refundable deposit is required when booking your appointment.
• Most services require a $20 deposit
• The deposit is applied toward your final service cost
• Deposits are required to secure your appointment time
We require 48 hours notice for cancellations or appointment changes.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will forfeit the deposit
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged 50% of the scheduled service price
• Clients may reschedule within the same 48-hour window when proper notice is given
If you are running late, please contact the salon as soon as possible.
• Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling
• After 30 minutes, the appointment will be automatically canceled
• Late arrivals may still be responsible for the scheduled service fee
Consultations are available for clients interested in discussing:
• Color services
• Keratin treatments
• Style changes
• Natural hair transitions
Consultations are $25 and may be applied toward your service if booked.
Appointments scheduled outside normal salon hours may incur an additional $40 service fee.
To maintain a relaxing one-on-one experience:
• Please do not bring additional guests
• Children should not accompany appointments unless they are being serviced
